The Twins in the Summer of 2007

Haven’t had a lot of time to write lately, so I decided I’d put up a post with some pictures of this past summer. It sure is nice seeing everything all green :)

These are the “twins” at the farm this summer. I think there were actually 3 sets of twins there this year, but its hard to tell.

You can click on the images to make em bigger. Just hit you “back” button when you are done looking to get back here. :)

Got the password - as you can see. :)

I love to take deer photos. There are about 8 of them that stay in the field behind my house.

Yeah, there are a few around here still…. not like there used to be though… Crop damage:(

I thought i had this set so that I didn’t have to moderate comments and after you emailed me I thought I had it so that you did not need to be logged in to comment.

bah back to the control panel lol

Something interesting about the animals here… over the past 5 to 10 years the number of animals in my area has increased dramatically. People often comment on that fact but for some reason they can’t make the connection between MTR and the animal migration. I usually try to tell them it is because of the loss of habitat on a grand scale happening just down river. The animals will naturally seek a safe zone.

One other thing… you might want to be careful of unmoderated comments in Wordpress. I have a Wordpress blog and I am having a heck of a time with spam even having comments moderated. I had to completely turn off commenting on that site until I can figure out what to do about the spam. I haven’t updated the Bolt Mountain blog in about a month because of the spam issue.

About the animals, that doesn’t surprise me… I’m sure the hunting is much better in some areas, but thats not the way to repopulate an area, for sure.

Thanks for the heads up, but with Askimet comes with wordpress and it had caught 3 spam comments so, I thought I’d try to make it easier for real users to make a comment. If it fails, then I’ll turn on moderation again… I was going to set it so that anyone with at least 1 post doesn’t get moderated, but I figured I’d try without it for now.

I do have comments with 5 or more Url’s moderated.
